Meet Maria Franco Silva, our dynamic Communications Coordinator at Stories Inspiring Movements (SIM). Maria is dedicated to capturing the powerful organizing work SIM is leading in Massachusetts by writing stories and narratives to share out with SIM’s community. Having moved to the U.S. from Brazil at 14, Maria has been relentless in her pursuit of education and community service. She’s studying Political Science at Lesley University with dreams of becoming an attorney. Maria is a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of dedication and resilience. Maria loves spending time with her little sister, being outdoors, and binge watching TV shows.
